Trainer Gordon Elliott
Anyone see the pics of probably one of the best trainers in the world sitting on one of his dead horses, they should throw the book at him

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
Saw it yesterday.

Not good for him with Cheltenham 2 weeks away and nice to see what he really thinks of horses.

Looks like one of those dickheads posing next to an animal they've just hunted.

Don't look good does it.

Now I'll await all the site 'comedians' *yawns

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
If the horse died of a heart attack, what has he actually done wrong?

Its not like he murdered anybody or misgendered a plastic potato toy.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
Its the normal run of the modern world .... people who don't like horse racing pretending to be HORRIFIED.
If horses race some will die.
If they don't race .... they'd probably all get eaten

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
People just like to stirrup trouble and he’ll no doubt end up getting hoofed out.

No Rhyme or Reason to it, it’s not like it affect people on a grand national scale. Most won’t take a fence.

Owners like Michael O'Leary may think twice about letting him train their horses.

Kenzo, why? What has he actually done wrong?

He hasn't broke any rules granted, but its not good image for the Sport is it ?

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
Sorry Kenzo, I must be being a bit thick here. What is it that is bad, I genuinely can't see it. A horse died, he sat on it when he took a call.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
I don't really see the problem.

I mean...It's dead.

It's just a corpse.

He didn't piss on it or owt.

If you can’t see that’s distasteful then you need your head checked.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
You’ll soon see how distasteful it is by the number of complaints sent in by horses.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
Stupid thing to do, but blokes will be blokes i suppose, not that i think its funny or acceptable behaviour, but will give social media something to melt down and be outraged about and no doubt there will be calls and demand he is banned from racing, charged with cruelty to Animals and have his life ruined as punishment.

Quiet surprised so many saying they see nothing wrong.
I thought it was pretty disgusting.

I never warmed to the man.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
It's about the RESPECT, init?

I've not seen the picture, and wouldn't want to see it, so can't really comment on it. But given the choice I'd have preferred to have seen a horse sat on a dead pikey than the other way around.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
When everyone who loves racing and everyone involved in racing is doing their best to convince non racing people horses are cared for and one of the highest profiled trainers acts like this, it's sickening and a complete disaster for racing.

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
colly

How do you provide care for a dead animal? Its dead. Gone, it no longer exists. I can kind of understand a buddhist possibly finding this offensive, but nobody else.

riosleftsock 11:02 Mon Mar 1

It's bit insensitive don't you think? Did he really have to sit down on the horse and stick a peace sign up with his fingers?

Re: Trainer Gordon Elliott
If you can be as callous as these geezer when it is dead, then you probably didn’t care much for it when it was alive.

People who work around animals normally have genuine affection for them.

I wouldn’t trust this geezer with my horse if I was an owner.
